In version 3.x the following features have been added to the TBXDS engine:

Engine version 3.5.8

  1. Intraday summaries are no longer supported. Contact vwd group for other solutions.
  2. Charts removed from documentation.

Engine version 3.5.7

  1. Added dormant on <Details>.

Engine version 3.5.6

  1. Added <Quote> elements <BlockTradeOpen>, <BlockTradeHigh>, <BlockTradeLow>, <IndicativeOpen>, and <Limit>.
  2. Added <Details> element <Class>.
  3. Added <Statistics> elements <Alpha>, <Beta>, and <RSquared>.
  4. Added <Return> for 6-month periods.

Engine version 3.5

  1. As of version 3.5, the <Parameter> value for generic-issues is now "yes" by default. This means that you will no longer get elements like <Share> and <Index>, but <Issue type="share"> and <Issue type="index">.
  2. A new request and response version has been introduced: 3.5. The main difference between 3.0 and 3.5 are the extra issue elements <Commodity>, <InterestRate>, <Rights> and <StructuredProduct>. In earlier response versions these are called <UnknownIssue>
  3. FTSE news sectors added through a new link-handler. See <FtseSectors>.
  4. <AssetAllocation> was added.
  5. <Return> with "year-to-date" was added.
  6. <AverageReturn> with "since-start" was added.
  7. Simple PHP request was added.
  8. <Region> and <Sector> (Details) were added.
  9. <TurboDetails> was added.
  10. <Return> with "4-year" was added.
  11. <AverageReturn> with "4-year" was added.
  12. <AverageVolume>, <High> (statistics) and <Low> (statistics) were added.
  13. Corrected cardinality of various <Statistics> child nodes.
  14. Added listing of ICB sectors supported.
  15. Corrected and extended description of values for <Details>, and added several new attributes and sub elements.
  16. <WarrantDetails> and <BondDetails> were added.
  17. <Beama> was added.
  18. <Quote> has a new attribute delivery-type.
  19. <Quote> has a new attribute delivery-type.
  20. The values of relative-difference and absolute-difference on <Last> are now based on the <Close> value, if it's present.
  21. The XML charts service is obsolete. For more information, please contact our sales department at salesnl@vwd.com.
  22. Added the Total Expense Ratio (TER) to <Details>.
  23. Added ICB sector code to <Details>.
  24. Added several items to the <Details> node, such as the turnover-ratio and performance fees.

Engine version 3.3

Engine version 3.1

Maintenance release.
  1. Chart and <Quote> queries can now be top-level queries.
  2. <ReturnData> query added for private queries.

Engine version 3.0

  1. The entire TBXDS engine is based on the vwd group Netherlands Publication Model. This means richer data for elements such as news, but also new id values.
  2. Enhanced security. Now, you need permission for every step you take with the TBXDS. Before, the TBXDS was rather giving, and did not check directly for permissions. The current TBXDS however, is very strict about the access rules for the data published by vwd group Netherlands.
  3. Non-nested <News> nodes. Also, the contents of the news articles can be processed by specialized handlers.
  4. The engine behind the TBXDS is highly modular, so new queries and data structures can (and will be) added, while maintaining the request and data version "3.0".
Plus several minor enhancements.
